Hi Lonnie, Reply 0000852: 0003976 As you know that we have built an EVT2 board as the final design, so we will simulate the DDR & eMMC based on the EVT2 main board only. We have booked the DDR & eMMC simulation internally and the report can be completed by next Wednesday(8/19). Please be informed about this. Regards, Sean |

Hi Lonnie, Please find attached for the EVT2 board DDR simulation report. You can found that some of the reflection over the ADD/CMD of U2 & U4 due to the fly-by topology, and that will cause not enough setup time. I've consult this issue with Synaptics China team Xiaomin Luo since we are followed the same layout routing rule as reference board. And it looks that Synaptics have saw this sympaton on their reference board and they can fine-tuned the setting to make it stable. In addition, Synaptics don't have ibis for eMMC I/F . So, we have no way to simulate the eMMC. Regards, Sean |
